The aim of this page is
to keep the world informed about the progress of the Skynch development
project, in pictures and in words.
The Skynch is a patented winch system
for paragliders that can be operated by the
pilot himself. The idea is to carry the winch with you into the air instead of
leaving it behind on the ground, thus creating total one-man autonomy when
towing. Since the Skynch project was initiated in late 2003, countless
prototypes have been designed, built and tested. We now know that this concept
works, but we also know that we're not entirely there yet. If you wish to stay
